I started blogging in 2004 long before “mommy blogger" was a term – much less a way of life for millions of people. I was a top 5 finalist in the 2012 Shorty Awards for “Mom in Social Media". In 2011, I started the site Ten to Twenty Parenting which is a community site and information resource for parents of teens and tweens and the unique parenting challenges they’re facing. Parenting the teens and tweens can be a daunting task and I think the best approach is with a healthy dose of humor. When I’m not playing the role of events and scheduling coordinator for my family, I’m busy running a social media marketing agency and am very active in the community. I frequently speak to groups on technology and social media as it relates to kids and family.
