Our objective for this series was to tell the stories of and celebrate the strength, determination and accomplishments of people who, despite all of their physical adversities and health problems, have achieved incredible goals.
We spent months getting to know all of the people whom we profiled in this series, and through genuine and open-hearted conversations, these men and women revealed to us their inner strengths — that which fuels them to beat the odds. The diversity of each story, from age to race to gender and medical ailment, resonates with our audience.
Beating the Odds amassed more than 17 million video views on Facebook, which more than acheived our goals of amplifying the voices of these underepresented and incredibly inspirational people.
