At Rule29, we live by the mantra of “making creative matter.” Whether that is through our impact in the world through design or even as humans in the day-to-day. That is why we created LEO moments. LEO’s mission is simple: we wanted to encourage everyone in the world to show more love. We believe that amidst all the negativity and chaos in the current climate, we need to accept and support all people, regardless of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or anything else that makes them different from you. We strive to develop strong empathy skills by participating in open and honest dialogue and positive acts of service. We support positive social activism and, above all, we think the world would be a better place if everybody would just Love Each Other.
Today’s world is filled with complex and difficult issues that are hard to fully understand. LEO has curated a collection of resources, stories, and thoughts about current issues that affect all of us. LEO invites individuals to learn, empathize, and expand their knowledge:
LEO is a welcoming community, a voice of understanding and positivity. If you are passionate about making the world a better place, LEO invites you to join in promoting positive social activism and acts of kindness. Each day LEO’s website features someone who has helped spread the movement one act of love at a time. Additionally, LEO curates social media pages inspired by positivity and creativity by connecting with members of the design community. Lastly, if anyone needs additional inspiration, LEO Stickers can provide the spark you need. Some ideas include:
LEO has created a community of kindness. To date 8/29/19, we have received 30,363 entries for people looking to receive stickers and spread positivity in the real world. We have been featured in various design communities such as GD USA and HOW Design Live for our work, creativity and devotion for seeking to make the world a better place. Lastly, we wanted to establish a space for designers to express themselves creatively and explore new ways of presenting a positive message.
