The Bridgerton Chaise Speaks Out

Objective

When it comes to promoting sexy shows on social media, the question is always: how can we talk about THAT without showing, you know, THAT. When the long awaited Season 3 of Bridgerton finally landed and cast members gave us a layup in an interview, we found one (ridiculously good) way.

Strategy

It all started with a little comment in a Hollywood Reporter interview… During filming of a *ahem* spicy scene, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton broke a chaise lounge. One small comment was all it took to light the Bridgerton fandom on fire. So when the new episodes finally dropped, we couldn’t miss an opportunity to hear straight from the source. That’s right: the chaise itself.

Results

The chaise gave us the true, tragic storytime about the day she lost her leg. Then the chaise had a turn of heart and turned a sad story into a story of reclaimed power when she posted a fancam of her broken leg to ‘Nasty Girl’ by Tinashe.

In addition to racking up 750,000 views, these assets also yielded our favorite types of comments: I can’t believe the actual Netflix page posted this. Believe it!
