The team’s foremost objective was to mirror the revolutionary innovation of Sphere itself across our social media handles. Thorough and creative documentation allowed us to reveal elements and bring audiences along to discover this first-of-its-kind venue in real time, as the team adapted to showcasing content for the first time from a brand-new venue. We worked with cutting-edge content creators to leverage unconventional mediums, resulting in a unique blend of creativity that mirrors the ethos of the venue. We forged strong relationships with U2 which allowed for more access, collaboration, and ultimately, more exclusive content for fans during opening weekend. We successfully digitally extended the unique experience from Vegas to a global audience.
Sphere has forever changed the live entertainment experience. Leading into opening weekend, we focused
on generating hype across our social media channels, with videos that showcased the magnitude of this
innovative new medium. Our strategy is to digitally extend the unique experience beyond the physical venue.
To date, Sphere's social channels have included preshow promotional content, real-time event coverage, recap
moments, partnerships, social trends, red carpet activations, and more. Content has ranged from highly produced to lo-
fi, incorporating visual effects, animations, short-form videos, drone footage, mixed media, photography,
and illustrations.
