Bellagio's Journey of the Tree

Objectives

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens have been one of the premiere attractions in Las Vegas for almost 30 years. During the holidays, people come from all over the world to walk through the magical moments created by the Horticulture and Engineering teams.  

Viewers were brought back to the beginning and taken on the journey of the beloved holiday tree and Patisserie holiday display. 

Strategy and Execution

The popularity around Bellagio’s Holiday Conservatory provided a unique opportunity for social marketing to create a documentary-style video to be shown across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. This gave viewers an exclusive look at what goes into bringing the massive holiday tree into the space for the show of a lifetime as well as the craftmanship that goes into edible displays curated by our very own Patisserie team. 

Using a story-like narrative, viewers are guided back to the roots of the tree in Mt. Shasta, California. Breathtaking clips of the scenery are shown leading up to the securing of the tree itself, all while informing viewers of the process. The tree then makes its way to Las Vegas where it is greeted by Bellagio’s team to be placed in the Conservatory and prepared for the season ahead.  

The video was deployed in alignment with the grand opening of the Holiday Conservatory to welcome guests like never before. 

Results

The series' overall social results led to 4.1M+ impressions, 1.3M+ video views and 256.1K+ engagements across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
