Objectives

To create an unforgettable summer moment highlighted by a series of videos that ladders up to our overall campaign "Fuel Your Summer Jam' in support of the launch of a limited-edition flavor, Cherry Limeade. 

Strategy and Execution

ZOA Energy's first launch of a limited-edition flavor was the fuel to the summer of 2022. In support of Cherry Limeade hitting the market, our team was tasked with creating excitement and buzz-worthy video content around popular summer moments from a brand-activated event in Venice Beach, California. Our video content was accompanied by audio taken directly from our official Spotify Playlist. 

To launch our new flavor, we gave consumers an opportunity to be the first to sample at a one-of-a-kind activation held directly on the sand of Venice Beach, California. The event consisted of a beach insipired tiki hut where consumers could get refreshed and recharged, retro roller skaters, who skated the boardwalk handing out cold, refreshing cans, a test your balance prize moment and last but not least... a 20 ton sand sculpture of our Founder, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson holding that delicious new flavor.

All of the content was shot vertically, to highlight across digital platforms. All content was repurposed to our stories and garnered traction to our website to promote the launch of the flavor.

Results

Consumer engagement surrounding the brand was up 41% on our social channels. 

Follower growth was over 59% 

The videos in the series received a total of over 20M views. 

Our Spotify playlist saw an increase of listens by 99% 

Our flavor Cherry Limeade went viral and became the fastest selling flavor, selling out of the limited run.
