Movie & TV Awards: Who Did It Butter? highlights MTV’s rich history celebrating movies and TV while tapping into the current landscape of the post pandemic experience. Our goal was to tap into the biggest movie and TV fans and fandoms through the lens of our favorite diverse creators to create conversations outside of the typical awards show chatter.
Heading into Movie & TV Awards weekend, MTV met up with some of our favorite creators including Tefi, Boman Martinez-Reid, Ryan Mitchell, and Mandii B to discuss their favorite movie and TV moments across topics like "Most Quotable Character," "Friend Group I Wanna Join" and many others. Between the clips, the creators defended their faves and battled it out while our host and fans helped decide whose picks reign supreme. We tapped into our audiences across platforms in our first live-to-tape multi-platform livestream across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
