WWE Social Media

Audience Honor in Sports

About this entry

The goal of WWE’s flagship social media platforms is to offer multiple locations for the WWE Universe’s needs. Our network of pages provides the social media user more opportunity to receive content centered around their favorite Superstars and WWE TV programs.

If WWE’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok followers want exclusive backstage photos from Roman Reigns, clips from the latest episodes of Raw and SmackDown and an unprecedented look at WWE's Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania, they have nearly unlimited access.

WWE's social media networks allow our worldwide fanbase to get updates delivered in the way they choose, from the WWE news sources they prefer, in an informative and entertaining way.

Why does this entry deserve to win?

In an evolving landscape where consumers multi-task on mobile devices while watching WWE programming, our Social Team turns our social media platforms into an essential second-screen component for WWE’s comprehensive sports-entertainment experience.

WWE has social media producers stationed at every WWE event, which allows for the kind of exclusive access to WWE talent and in-ring action that you can't find anywhere else.

With 238 million Twitter followers across all WWE brand and talent pages, the WWE Universe is the main source of breaking news and buzzworthy conversation, giving WWE fans worldwide the chance to interact with WWE Superstars.

Through our Snapchat Stories, WWE fans are essentially given a backstage pass, including on-camera match announcements, interviews and highlights.

And while WWE’s TikTok page has only existed for two years, it has already amassed more than 15.5 million followers.

Our creative Social Team members collaborate seamlessly while stationed in all corners of the globe. From the locker room to the ground floor of our WWE Media team offices, passionate producers create original video content, provide up-to-the-minute coverage for all of WWE's major events, and much more.

WWE's social media producers coach our WWE Superstars in best practices for Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms, including proper verbiage, technique and etiquette.
