Latin X Campaign

Objectives

Celebrating inclusivity for all Latines: Black Latines, Asian Latines, Indigenous Latines, and Trans Latines; Freeform created a social campaign to start a conversation that both educates and challenges assumptions about the LatinX culture. 

Strategy and Execution

Campaign elements included a wide variety of posts: biographies of LatinX icons, artwork, testimonials, activism calls to action, etc.  Some pieces of the series were filmed as a roundtable discussion—comprised of influencers, comedians, writers, and activists—each episode led/”moderated” by talent with personal investment in the episode premise.

Results

#poweroflatinx has been embraced by the media and continues to receive widespread critical acclaim.
