Dhar Mann Studios wanted to create a fun story that could provide influencers The Stokes Twins with the creative freedom to produce a video that both their audience and our audience would love. We wanted to utilize more humor than our videos typically have to present this to new audiences that might not like the more serious tone of other videos on our channel.
Both Dhar Mann Studios and The Stokes Twins worked to promote on all socials that a collab was happening well before it was posted. Utilizing a trailer for the video on YouTube, sharing a picture of the Stokes Twins and Dhar Mann on YouTube community tab posts and YouTube stories was done the week of the release of the video. Other social platforms were also used to push traffic to the YouTube video once it went live an image was also shared on Instagram directing followers on that platform to watch the video on YouTube. The strategy was to utilize all the social tools and both our loyal audience and The Stokes Twins audience to drive views. When the video went live there was also a giveaway associated where we added special intro footage encouraging viewers to comment for a chance to win. This video was also a plan for multiple collabs to happen over the next year with The Stokes Twins.
The video achieved 8 Million views in 24 hours and had 152,030 concurrent live viewers. The launch of this video also greatly increased new subscribers on our channel who were fans of The Stokes Twins but did not follow Dhar Mann YouTube channel yet. Since this video launched a follow part 2 was done, as well as a behind the scenes video and The Stokes Twins reacted to their video on their own YouTube channel.
