To create excitement, drive awareness and drive tune-in to Candace Cameron Bure's Countdown to Christmas all new movie “If I Only Had Christmas.”
The social media team ideated and created a fun and innovative Bingo game to support the Hallmark Channel Original Premiere of, “ If I Only had Christmas”, part of our 7-Nights Thanksgiving Movie Event. Fans were encouraged to download the game and play along to identify different items from this original premiere all with the objective of driving tune in, and engagement during the movie to eventize the premiere. Overall, fans loved the Bingo game and we secured positive fan feedback.
“If I Only Had Christmas” generated the highest volume of Impressions during the week of Thanksgiving with 167M social media impressions. In addition to our promotional posts for the premiere, we created assets for the Bingo game and posted on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. During the premiere night the fan engagement was high! Several fans filled out the Bingo Game creative including Candace Cameron-Bure and shared their findings on their personal Twitter channels while watching the premiere. We also live-tweeted from the Hallmark Channel Twitter account encouraging fans to watch the movie, live-tweet with us, and play the Bingo Game. (Examples included below). We generated over 18k interactions with our content and the game, beating original movie competition by Lifetime (3 premieres) and BET (1 premiere) in social media.
Overall, fans loved the Bingo game and we secured positive fan feedback. The Bingo game reached over 629k people, was displayed over 668k times and over 6k fans liked, commented and shared the content.
