About this entry

To respond to Lotus' desire to communicate on its products, and particularly on its innovative "Comfort Toilet Paper Without Tube", We Are Social has deployed an activation to promote them by surfing on a social, viral and engaging trend: The Satisfying GIFs. 

While a few brands have lent themselves to the exercise, our objective has been to stand out by including the added value of Lotus products to the GIFs. The texture, resistance and softness of tissues and toilet paper are thus represented in dreamlike universes, offering Internet users a purely satisfying break.

An operation that capitalises on the brand's assets to skillfully explore new territories and bring Lotus ever closer to its audiences. A little softness in a tense digital world ;)

Why does this entry deserve to win?

To enhance the value of its products, Lotus and We Are Social have created the "satisfying gifs": a series of more than perfect animation loops, which bringse full satisfaction and fascination.

Colours, textures, USPs (softness, resistance, voluptuousness...), the brand is staged in a pop and offbeat universe, created by illustrators Matthieu Braccini and Mathieu Le Berre.

Tissues fly away, rolls roll up and down... a dozen gifs offer the most relaxing social media experience possible. 

They are available on Giphy, the Lotus Facebook account and smartphones (via Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Messenger...) under the tag #perfectmoment. 

 

The publication was a 2 stages launch, in order to meet Lotus' commercial stakes: 

The first publication was launched in September 2019 with the Comfort gifs without tube.

It was followed by monthly publications, with the wet toilet paper / tissues / branding gifs, to create a serial appointment with the community, until February 2020.

Results

Gifs, social media’s kings formats, still have a long life ahead of them! 

Slack, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Whatsapp, Tinder... gifs are used everywhere and accessible to everyone, forever.

830K of Lotus #PerfectMoment gifs were used between September 2019 and January 2020, a total of 6M reach (paid) on Facebook.
