To build buzz for Season 2 of our X-Men show, we wanted to create a custom social trailer for the fans that showcased our characters origins to X-Men and the Marvel universe, all while promoting to the new season on FOX.
To reach this goal of our show meeting its comic-book origins, we partnered with Comflix Studios, a company who creates custom content and distributes to their comic book related network. We created an edgy Comic-Book style social trailer to introduce our two competing sides of the season (Mutant Underground vs. The Inner Circle) and introduce each of our characters. We released the video exclusively first on comicbook.com and then wide across our social channels, Marvel's and talent pages.
The social trailer response and reaction was extremely positive and outperformed our other content for the show. To date the video has over 2.9m views across social.
