While many find inspiration in reading tea leaves, artist Ruby Silvious finds inspiration in painting tea bags. Seeing creative opportunity in the uncommon and a blank canvas in a Lipton bag, Ruby challenged herself to a daily tea bag art creation over the course of one year, resulting in a project that became an international sensation. Ruby’s work has been featured in The Guardian and Bored Panda, earning her author credit with subsequent book 363 Days of Tea. Now an Instagram phenom, the Philippine-born artist uses the platform to continually charm her nearly 20K followers, delighting in each tiny tableau and multi-bag masterpiece over a cup of tea.
