Special Election Coverage. We know our audience comes to Snapchat for breaking news and events. We wanted to capitalize on that demand knowing that the heightened interest in politics in the age of President Trump. From our studio in Los Angeles, Snapchat broadcast hourly election updates around the 2018 midterms, under the umbrella of Snapchat's original political show "Good Luck America," hosted by veteran journalist Peter Hamby. Throughout Election Night last November, the show gave viewers what they needed-to-know as voting results came in from around the country, with a dose of humor and analysis.
