DIE HARD IS OFFICIALLY A CHRISTMAS MOVIE

Objectives

20th Century Fox challenged Stun to help drive sales of the 30th Anniversary Christmas Edition.

Our strategy was to insert Die Hard into the current on-going chatter developing around the Christmas controversy: Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?

The way to do that was to take a stand and officially choose a side. The message was clear, and Fox confirmed it. Die Hard is the greatest Christmas story ever told.

Strategy and Execution

Die Hard already has a passionate and loyal fan base, but how do we get everyone talking? Die Hard has so much to work with - iconic characters, famous quotes, explosions, holiday cheer, romance, and humor. We wanted to showcase all these elements with one powerful trailer.

Releasing the trailer allowed the movie to speak for itself, but it was also a clear message from Fox confirming that Die Hard is officially a holiday classic for you to enjoy year after year, generation after generation.
