To celebrate our community, Curology launched #curologyjourney, a video series that highlights each members' (sk)individuality and their experiences before and with Curology. Our video participants come from different backgrounds and have their own unique skin concerns. Hallie has suffered from pustules and painful cystic acne as an adult. When the World-Record Instagram Egg became a global sensation as it surpassed Kylie Jenner to have the most liked photo on Instagram, Curology decided to join in on the fun and created a #curologyjourney video for the egg.
To capitalize on the ephemeral nature of a viral meme, the video was concepted, filmed and edited in 6 hours. Just like Curology's routine, the video is simple and to the point, with a little cheeky humor. The star of the video is an egg who is self-conscious of its uneven, spotty skin. After seeing ads for Curology, the egg decided to give the custom cream a try. A few weeks later, the egg finally feels confident enough in its skin to post selfies on Instagram.
