Ahead of the launch of Love Island Series 3, we wanted to create talkability and excitement.
Love Island is the biggest and best dating game around. A group of singles spend their summers in a beautiful luxury villa in the sun, under the watchful gaze of ITV2 viewers, where they have to win the hearts of the public as well as each other. Viewers have the power to decide who stays and who goes, until one couple remains, scooping up a huge cash prize. Expect many twists, turns and surprises along the way.
Ahead of the launch of Love Island Series 3, we wanted to remind the audience exactly what they loved about it the show.
To get conversation started we wanted to remind the audience what they loved about season 2.
Using data research and social analytics, we first figured out what were the most talked about scenes of Series 2, and narrowed it down to three options.
We storyboarded the scenes and worked with a production designer to create bespoke dolls, costumes and sets that closely matched real life - tattoos, earrings, facemasks, everything. We even had a doll made to represent our host, Caroline Flack.
