As a 100% cruelty-free brand, we have a huge love for our furry friends. Our main goal with Palettes for Paws® was to help out local animal shelters by sending items they needed. After reaching out to several shelters, we found out that they all needed more food for the animals.
This was quite heart-breaking for the Karity family. How could we leave these cuties without enough food? Our mission from this point on was clear. We would match every palette sold with a meal for a shelter animal.
Our first step was to find a local shelter to support. That way, we could support both the community and the animals living there. After calling dozens of shelters, we found that the local SPCA® was the perfect fit.
We launched the campaign just in time for the holidays. This was perfect timing, as the winter is a tough time for shelters. Of course, sales are best during the holiday season, so the number of meals we donated would be even higher.
With the best shelter and launch date possible, we were very confident in the success of Palettes for Paws®. In true Karity fashion, we took to social media to share our new cause. Our followers were ecstatic about our mission, and so were we.
Every quarter, we count up the number of palettes sold, and donate meals accordingly. This new meal-per-palette approach would help us maximize the effect we had on animals in need.
Since its launch in December 2017, Palettes for Paws® has been an unprecedented success. Thanks to our followers and fans, thousands of meals have been donated to shelter animals.
We also aim to make an impact beyond Palettes for Paws®. So far, we've donated to the ACLU, assisted with Pulse relief, and plan on changing up our philanthropy once a year to help numerous causes. Right now, we're working on making the lives of our furry friends a little better, and are so excited to continue doing so for the remainder of 2018.
