Sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s correct and what is wishcasting. Zeke Faux wrote a great book about crypto, Number Go Up and some of the same principles apply to the creator economy. We all want it to succeed and we evangelize it accordingly. But Ian Shepherd does a good job of pointing out the many factors making YouTube the preferred destination going forward (read more).

No one has better up-to-the-minute reporting on TikTok’s limbo than Kaya Yurieff. She packed a year’s worth of scoops into a week. The White House seems to be delighting in uncertainty right now but Kaya gave some clarity on who the future players may be and how we proceed to another soft deadline.
