Objective

Our objective was to highlight the lives of cast members beyond the show, showcasing their hometowns, routines, and struggles, alongside an in-depth look at their Challenge careers. The Challenge: Home Turf features the most seasoned Challenge competitors who take fans through their timeline on and off the show while giving a peek behind the production curtain, showcasing their lives now and revisiting their iconic moments from the show. Straight from the heart of their hometowns, they share untold stories of their past, bringing us behind the scenes into their upbringings and family life. 

Strategy

Our strategy was to build viewer subscribers and keep fans engaged between seasons, while creating something intimate, revealing, and real, showcasing the personal stories and experiences of the cast members. In this revealing episode, we travel to London where viewers witness Big T's journey beyond the competition as she opens up about her deeply personal origins. Born in Malawi and adopted into a family in London, Big T shares her emotional journey of navigating identity and estrangement from her birth family.

Results

The Challenge: Home Turf docuseries achieved 1.79M views across 8 episodes on YouTube. Fans praised its emotional depth and authenticity, enhancing their connection to the cast. The series had a significant impact, expanding the audience and adding 9.7K subscribers, with top episodes and trailers widely watched and shared.
