Teen Wolf: Holland and Colton Mental Health is Health

Objectives

To activate the Teen Wolf fandom to support their peers through their mental health journey, we had stars and real-life best friends Colton Haynes and Holland Roden sit down to test their friendship knowledge and talk about the ways in which they support each other.

Strategy and Execution

We had Colton and Holland sit down to play a game to test their friendship while also allowing them to explore their own personal mental health struggles and stories. They guessed each other’s favorite pizza toppings, number of siblings in their family and what the other person likes to do to unwind or relieve stress. Throughout their chat and gameplay, the pair detailed their experiences with therapy and plugged mental health resources that our fans could navigate to. The content rolled out over a series of videos on multiple platforms -- the full, longform piece living on YouTube and Facebook, and shorter cutdowns living across Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

Results

The campaign garnered over 8.6M views, 955K engagements and 8.9M impressions across social with TikTok being the strongest platform for the content. Fans loved watching Holland and Colton together and praised them for being so open and vulnerable about their personal journeys with mental health.
