Each season, the Grand Finale is a major celebration for the cast and fans of the show. Premiering on the RuPaul’s Drag Race YouTube & TikTok, we went LIVE from the pink carpet interviewing all of the stars on their way into Downtown LA’s historic Ace Theater. Our reigning Miss Congeniality, Kornbread The Snack Jeté took to the carpet to catch up with everyone from the Season 15 cast to guest judges and celeb superfans.
Kornbread brought the energy to each and every interview. She and the queens talked fashion, favorite moments, and addressed the threats facing the LGBTQ+ community. Providing on the ground coverage is essential, as we are a hub for fan discussion. Our objective is to share the content they crave as seamlessly as possible. With the unpredictability of a live stream in mind, a major key to success in the activation was Kornbread’s willingness to think on her toes and keep the pace moving.
The Season 15 Finale Red Carpet was a great success. Fans were super engaged with the content, blowing up the chat with each and every new interview. It was also a fundraiser for the ACLU Drag Defense Fund, receiving many donations throughout the stream.
