Last fall, Chevron partnered with the National Park Service and
the Musconetcong Watershed Association to remove nine inactive
pipelines along New Jersey’s historic waterway. To document the
project, we crafted a story underscoring the rich history of the river
and celebrating its importance to the surrounding communities.
The Musconetcong River had a triumphant return to its natural
state, and we chronicled its journey in a poignant video
demonstrating our commitment to protecting biodiversity.
Showing a mix of ground and drone footage, archival imagery and on-camera
interviews, we struck a fine balance between aspirational storytelling and
communicating the sobering reality of social responsibility.
Ultimately, the Tidewater story was amplified via social media and shared internally across enterprise platforms.
