How The White Queen Inspired Allies on Pinterest

Objectives

The White Queen was the first STARZ Original Series to showcase the lifestyle of the series through Pinterest, extending our fan reach and awareness to our target audience of females aged 25-54. Pinterest was the perfect platform to generate awareness and promote tune-in. We began buy rolling out different lifestyle boards, and followed with more show content as we approached the premiere date.Nine boards were created for The White Queen Pinterest page, culminating in a total of 3,762 engagements. We were able to leverage real time events like the birth of the Royal baby, posting to a “Royal Baby Boy" board, while tying in major plot points with current female interest; for example, the royal wedding, and Royally Chic. Another great Pinterest success was a partnership with SheKnows.com. We developed a shared Pinterest board, “Advice From The White Queen," that generated 10,321 total board followers. SheKnows.com wrote an article each week, giving a modern take on advice based on events of the episode. There are 15.8K+ followers across the nine boards we created, with The White Queen Pinterest account having 984 followers.
