Boomer Stoop: Pronouns

Objectives

We believe that comedy is a powerful force for good. Our goal is to use comedy to open minds and hearts, and to educate and inform our audience in a relatable, thought-provoking way.

Strategy and Execution

For our new series “Boomer Stoop”, we used puppets and songs to directly address problematic thinking and discourse in our country. In our episode titled “Pronouns”, we specifically addressed the importance of respecting people by using their preferred pronouns. As we note in the song, it’s basic human empathy. This content went live during Pride Month as part of Comedy Central’s larger plan to support the LGBTQ+ community

Results

The “Pronouns” episode went viral on TikTok and spurred conversation. In total, the episode has garnered 2.2M organic views and an incredible 618K engagements across platforms.
