Slick Slime Sam has become a cornerstone of kids’ entertainment, sparking creativity and curiosity for the last seven years. Our mission is to inspire children to embrace their imagination, celebrate mistakes as part of learning, and explore their potential through DIY crafts, experiments, and adventures with Sam and Sue.

In 2024, our goal was ambitious: to reach ten million subscribers while evolving our content to align with shifting audience preferences. With YouTube Shorts gaining prominence, we sought to expand our offerings, creating original, trend-driven Shorts that retained the essence of our brand. This goal wasn’t just about numbers—it was about fostering a global community of young learners and creators across languages and cultures.

Strategy

Faced with fierce competition and rapidly changing trends in kids’ content, we knew we had to innovate to achieve our subscriber milestone. Our strategy focused on leveraging YouTube Shorts, a format growing in popularity among our audience. Rather than repurposing existing content, we developed an entirely original series of Shorts that embraced the creativity, playfulness, and educational value central to our brand.

Our efforts exceeded expectations. By the end of 2024, Slick Slime Sam topped eleven million subscribers, surpassing our goal by more than a million. This was fueled by the remarkable success of Shorts, which accounted for 96% of subscriber growth. The channel also garnered 1.7 billion views in 2024 alone, representing a 999% year-over-year increase.

Beyond the numbers, the emotional connection we’ve cultivated with our audience is our greatest achievement. Parents and children frequently express gratitude for our content through heartfelt comments and messages. Many original viewers, now older, return to share how Sam and Sue inspired their creativity during their formative years.

These milestones affirm that we’ve succeeded in creating a safe, engaging, and imaginative space for children. Slick Slime Sam remains committed to our mission: to delight and inspire young minds worldwide while continuing to innovate and adapt in the evolving digital landscape.
