Topics for our podcast are selected in partnership with YouTube Culture + Trends teams through platform data indicating top trending communities & topics. We then set out to program an engaging and entertaining podcast episode to discuss and learn about each trending topic selected–be it Mukbang (which was filmed live at Vidcon 2024), anime, ASMR, creator athletes, and more. We aim to create a conversation that is engaging for creators & viewers that are a part of the community and those who may not even know that the community exists.
With nearly 3.5M views on our 2024 podcast episodes, we saw engagement on our podcast episodes in all forms–live in person at Vidcon (one of the highest attended panels on VidCon’s mainstage), and throughout the video likes, shares and comments. Users recognized their favorite creators in each episode with reactions such as “Eatspicywithtee's mukbangs are amazing!!! Have you heard those ASMR sounds?!?!
