Objectives

Silence breeds shame and blocking conversations around women's health means women are less informed about their bodies, are less healthy and feel shame about normal bodily functions. SHE Media's objective was to raise awareness that these pertinent conversations are being blocked by on advertisers block lists and losing financial support. The average person does not connect ad word blocking lists with defunding these topics and we want women and advertisers to take a stand for women's health.

Strategy and Execution

As part of our new women's health platform, Flow, we partnered with female celebrities who are women's health advocates to get their hot takes on certain keywords. We brought them each into our studio to film their reactions and cut them into a funny but relevant video. This video was featured in our Flow digital issue in article pages and across Flow and SHE Media social channels. Featured celebrities were tagged in the posts to organically raise awareness.

Results

This video successfully launched our Flow Space brand pillar by bringing awareness to the shame surrounding the conversations on women's health and wellness. This video had a 9,883 plays, had impressive pageviews and was picked up by the The Knockturnal.
