On June 6, 2022, Visa hosted Visa Payments Forum, its annual conference designed to bring together clients and partners to share perspectives on key trends shaping the future and examining the state of payments and opportunities evolving in the industry. Over three days, Visa delivered content rich sessions presented by Visa experts, interactive displays that highlighted ways to partner with Visa, and a variety of networking opportunities focused on the ongoing impact of innovation on payments.
Shiraz was engaged to develop a robust menu of technology-enhanced programming to allow Visa to drive awareness and adoption of its services and products while bridging the gap between technology and payment solutions. Through engaging and relevant activations with a balance of futuristic content, Shiraz delivered out-of-the-box interactive moments to help Visa meet business objectives through amplified immersive storytelling.
In partnership with Visa and We Are Immersive, Shiraz’s immersive technology partner, a virtual sandbox known as “Virtual Land” was conceptualized as an entry point into the metaverse. The activations in Virtual Land demonstrated the capabilities of advanced technology to drive growth, and enable secure and seamless payments for businesses.
Key features of Virtual Land included:
Visa Creator Program: As part of the VR experience, guests could explore an NFT Museum showcasing creators interested in building and scaling their business with NFTs. This program supports digital-first creators, curators, and community builders engaging with NFTs and blockchain technology. Our NFT gallery showcased the works of AKU World, CyberPunk, Meliha Abdi, Vinnie Hager, and more.
Future of Commerce: This compelling experience allowed participants to learn about Cybersource payments and fraud management tools through VR payments at the virtual Sneaker Store. This virtual environment enabled guests to experience a metaverse environment with gaming and cryptocurrency activities, and gave stakeholders opportunities to initiate new business leads.
Shiraz drove the execution of the 360-degree digital metaverse ecosystem enabling guests to walk away with an understanding of how to drive growth, identify future trends, and showcase innovative payment technology. We successfully transformed creative intuition into intrigue and offered a sense of immersion for conference participants while hoping to drive Visa's conference objectives.
