The IRIS Project

Entered in Video Series

Objectives

Project IRIS is an innovative game created for YouTube star Jacksepticeye's community, featuring an epic adventure through a transmedia world of his own creation. Viewers can play along with with each other live on YouTube, solve puzzles to unlock live action cutscenes featuring Jacksepticeye, Arin Hanson and professional stunt performers, and immerse themselves in a truly interactive and engaging experience.

We are thrilled with the results of this project and believe that it demonstrates the power of games and technology to bring creative ideas to life in exciting new ways.

Strategy and Execution

Our strategy was to use our expertise in game development, live streaming, and film production to create an immersive experience that would extend beyond the game itself. We used Unreal Engine 5 to create a brand new game that would appeal to Jacksepticeye's community, and we also filmed live action cut scenes to help bring the game's mysteries and story to life.

Results

Overall, our project successfully achieved its objective of creating an original IP game for Jacksepticeye's community and building a transmedia world that would allow them to engage with the game and its characters across multiple platforms. The puzzle design in the game effectively generated a high level of engagement and teamwork from Jacksepticeye's community, showcasing the power of games to bring people together and foster collaboration. We believe that this project stands out as an innovative example of how games, live streaming, and film production can come together to create a truly immersive and engaging experience for audiences, and we are proud to submit it for consideration in the Shorty Awards.
