To produce eye-catching, entertaining and engaging "Win" graphics. We wanted to create win graphics that added entertainment value to our followers' experience and continue the "high energy" following a W.
Before each game, there was a brainstorm with the social team and graphic designers in order to craft detailed, fun, meme-style win graphics. We pulled inspiration from every aspect of the opposing team ranging from their name to the city to logo, etc. in order to create a highly-specific, lighthearted graphic that added to the victorious feeling after a win. We were constantly evolving the graphics to be on par with what fans found enjoyable. Early on, we had highly edited graphics that took hours to complete. As time went on, we found it most valuable to switch the mindset to a “deep fry edit” that takes about 5 minutes, but holds the same value and engagement.
These became a Nuggets post-game content staple for the 2021-22 season. Every meticulous graphic had high engagement as fans pieced together the various elements that were baked into each image. We were able to continuously create the unexpected and bring a playful energy to our feed for our following. Our “memes” can be found under fan accounts, Twitter threads, and shared by major news outlets.
