Create a video that will stand out in the feed and get fans excited for the for Season 20 of American Idol.

Strategy and Execution

In an incredibly crowded space, it's hard to get fans attention. We mimicked the UI of a phone to make fans think that they have an incoming phone call coming from Katy Perry. Wouldn't you stop for a second if you thought Katy Perry was calling you? As one of the most followed people on Instagram, leading with Katy in our creative has always led to success, and with this combined approach of eye catching design, we successfully gained fans attention!

Results

Fans responded very positively and as an ad we saw efficient cpm at $5.50. Katy Calling contributed to the premiere of American Idol being the #1 most social broadcast program on 2/27, driving 1.6M social interactions and 6.5M video views.
