To celebrate the winter holidays, Fiverr teamed up with three prominent creator teams, Good Mythical Morning, JOLLY, and Sorted Food, to add some extra holiday flair to their content. Each creator worked with a Fiverr freelancer to integrate a classic holiday art form, claymation, into their regularly scheduled holiday programming. The goal was to shed light on the unique creative talent on Fiverr’s platform as well as the diversity of services available from freelance talent around the world. As a classic holiday medium, the claymation videos introduced an element of nostalgia and charm to the creators’ content, while demonstrating how Fiverr freelancers can breathe creativity into any idea or business, and bring stories to life in new ways.
For this campaign, participating creators had the freedom to determine how to incorporate claymation into their holiday content, working with freelancers on Fiverr to bring their vision to life. The claymation videos showed animated versions of the creators, acting out scenes that integrated well into their original content, with voiceovers from the creators themselves. The outcome was sponsored content that was engaging and individualized to capture the attention of their audiences, inserting Fiverr as a resource for an array of creative resources. By pushing sponsored content across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube, the creative team was able to track which content garnered the most engagement and drove the most visits to Fiverr’s platform for animation and creative services.
The result was a huge success. The content from 3 creators received over 7 million views across 3 platforms, driving over 313,000 engagements. Comments spoke to the high-quality of the animation, some calling it “the greatest integration of a sponsor” done “tastefully.” The content drove interest for Fiverr’s creative service categories, such as animation, increasing awareness of the breadth of services on the platform and the top-tier freelance talent in the Fiverr community.
