LOUD Lacquer is a luxury nail polish company that saw massive growth online during the pandemic while salons were shut down. They had a unique and provocative vision to promote their summer collection, but needed an agency to help them fully develop it and execute the content to distribute across organic and paid social.
They named their summer collection Swinging Summer–a foursome of bright, summer-ready nail polishes named after terms only swingers would understand.
After googling the cheeky polish names (Lawn Flamingo, Soft Swap, +++ and Key Party), we knew we were in for an adventure and did everything in our power to help them bring this concept to life. That meant the strategy was...no strategy. With just over 30 days to execute before launch, we let their vision guide our intuition through the campaign.
We started by developing headlines that pushed the boundaries, but still aligned with the brand:
