Create a fun AR component for Coors Light California Chill summer 2021 promotional campaign that activated California-specific Coors Light packaging and product featuring the California Bear.
Molson Coors engaged Trigger to add a fun and easily accessible AR component to their summer Coors Light California Chill 2021 promotional campaign. The California Bear character was essential to the campaign, found on packaging and signage at retail. We built a web AR activation featuring the Bear as the hero of the experience, where users will see it come to life in augmented reality with a series of fun, shareable animations. The experience can be launched via custom-branded Coors Light packaging and product. At the end of the experience, users can enter sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes throughout the year; prizes and content are updated seasonally with Coors Light partnerships. Trigger also developed Coors Light social animations to support the larger media activation utilizing the existing Coors Light California AR Bear.
The Web AR experience successfully launched via custom-branded Coors Light packaging and product. Alongside the XR experience the custom animations of the California Bear were utilized for social media assets. The activation received engagement through sweepstakes and ultimately resulted in an average engagement time of 1:41 minutes.
