Objectives

The Healthy Skin Show podcast was created by integrative clinical nutritionist and eczema warrior Jennifer Fugo as a way to help those living with chronic skin rashes explore alternative ways to look at what's driving their skin nuts. Based on research, each episode tackles a wide range of chronic skin rash complaints including (but not limited to) eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, lichen sclerosus, tinea versicolor, and seborrheic dermatitis.

After her own battle with dyshidrotic eczema, Jennifer became frustrated by the lack of answers about what was driving the flares and her spreading rash. She clearly didn't have a steroid cream deficiency. Even natural remedies she found online didn't help all that much! So she put on her investigative cap to look at chronic skin rash conditions with a fresh set of eyes -- out of that was born Skinterrupt (the home of the Healthy Skin Show).

Together, Jennifer dives deep to empower and inspire her listeners to see their skin concerns from a totally different perspective as she pulls back the curtain to dish on nutrition, diet, root causes, detoxification, lifestyle changes and even innovative published research that doesn't seem to trickle down to your doctor.

Ultimately it's our goal to connect our listeners with information that could very positively transform the quality of their skin and lives.

Strategy and Execution

The Skinterrupt team works together to develop the content that ultimately makes up each episode. Content is typically created around the following:

Each podcast is fully transcribed (to offer listeners multiple ways of consuming the information) and citations are added to episodes. The show is hosted on www.Skinterrupt.com where listeners can further engage and more deeply research their own particular skin concern.

The team then uses our social media channels along with promoting episodes heavily through our newsletter and Jennifer's Instagram account. It's our goal to share this information as much as possible while encouraging listeners to also share because we believe in the positive power of community and connection.

Ultimately, the creation of each show is truly a team effort!
