Good Luck America is a Snapchat US politics news show hosted by Peter Hamby. Snap Inc. launched GLA in January 2016, and has leveraged the show as a laboratory to develop best practices for TV-style storytelling on Snapchat, including: close framing, quick punch-ins, full-screen vertical shots, fast pacing and highly visual elements. In 2019 Hamby and team released 120 vlog style episodes, painted with bi-partisan sarcasm that give the show’s primarily young adult audience a trusted friend in their phone who dissects daily politics into easy to watch 3-5 minute episodes.
