For 17 years, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has deeply connected with fans of all ages, all around the world --- growing in popularity and relevance each year. For the first time ever, “Ellen on the Go” offers listeners unprecedented access to the inner workings of the beloved daily talk show and a peek into architecting the world’s pop culture machine. It’s our objective to be honest, hilarious, inclusive, and bold.

Strategy and Execution

“Ellen on the Go” is an audio catch-up of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” with a never-before-seen glimpse into how the daily talk show comes together from the creative minds that make it all happen. The podcast is hosted by the show’s Executive Producers Mary Connelly, Ed Glavin, Andy Lassner and Kevin A. Leman II, who have been with the show since its inception in 2003, giving their unique perspective, behind-the-scenes commentary, and humor. Guests such as Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, and Kalen Allen also stop by from time to time to share their personal stories.

What started off initially as an audio recap of the show, has evolved into an immersive experience giving the listener a front row seat on how a daily talk show is produced through the lens of the minds who help make it happen.

Results

With 129 episodes, 11.5 million lifetime downloads and on average 90 thousand listens per episode, “Ellen on the Go” allows fans of the ELLEN universe to get the front row view they desire all the while driving traffic to our highly rated TV program.
