We set out to create a publishing solution that would help influencers find additional distribution options, audience growth, and revenue streams from content they are already creating for other platforms. To accomplish this, we created and monetized Outloud owned and operated Facebook pages as well assuming mangagement of individual creator pages. We offer our influencer-partners a customized publishing solution based on their content libraries, goals, and unique situations and handle every piece of the publishing pipeline so they have no extra work or expense. They get a publishing partner that has the knowledge, tools, and reach well beyond anything they could achieve on their own and we get to publish incredible content!
Outloud Media's strategy begins at our hard-won reputation with influencers from our core busienss (The Outloud Group). We extended the same spirit of collaboration and good partnerships into the publishing space by creating a publishing solution for creators that is both customized to their individual circumstance and yet scaled to reach millions of Facebook views every month. Our publishing solutions range from the simple content license, in which we publish a single or mutliple piece(s) of content on our owned and operated page(s) and do a simple revenue split...all the way to full management of a creator's Facebook page(s) in which we assume responsibility for every post, video, comment, and audience engagement.
Regardless of partnership level, we apply a cross-collaborative model to Facebook publishing in which we target a specific vertical or genre that we a) are interested in and b) have access to quality creators/content. We then build group of like minded creators around that vertical and facillitate cross-page collaboration so that each creator benefits from the audience of the others and vice versa. We then assign the pieces of our partners' content to our editors and apply our knowledge and formula for successful video strategies in Facebook video. After optimizing the cut, we post the content and strategically share particular pieces of content into appropriate groups as well as fund audeince discovery using Facebook's Ads Manager...all of which comes out of our own pocket...not the influencer.
Another key element to our startegy is a low-barrier to entry, low-commitment deal structure. We do not require that any partner give up ownership of their content or any of their media properties to work with us. We do not even require exclusive rights or a time period for said publishing rights beyond the term of our partnership...which any partner can cancel for any reason at any time.
In essence, our strategy is to offer a publishing solution that brings extradinary value to our content partenrs and requires no risk, cost, or effort on their part. We then push ourselves to deliver results which keep our partners wanting to work with us as opposed to having a deal structure or a contract that requires they do. Our competitors either do not allow the influencer to particiapte finacnially (and only offer credit for use of their content), or demand such draconian deal terms that the influencer is locked into them long-term. We let our reputation, our relationships, and our performance speak for themselves.
Since creating our first page in July of 2019, we have grown our reach to over 30 Million views every month. We have created 13 owned and operated Facebook pages and are currently managing the pages of 11 individual influencers. Some of our partners are: Gone to the Snow Dogs, The Backyard Scientist, LunkersTV, Alex Peric (APBassing), Modern Builds, and April Wilkerson (Wilker Do's).
The above partners are obviously in addition to the Outloud pages such as Outloud Media, Outloud DIY, Outloud Wilderness, Outloud Ideas, etc.. We are growing at a rate of more than 200% every month measured in creator-partners, revenue, and overall views, and things are just starting to heat up as we are currently onboarding such as Strictly Dumpling, Beyond Science, Demolition Ranch and many others!
