He gained attention taking to Twitter to call out liberal magazines, like The New Republic, for being racist, and his Twitter account became the go-to spot for news on racially motivated police shootings. A scholar of the world, Ta-Nehisi educates his 390k followers. He’s redefined black pride, tweeting, “It’s a privilege for me to be black." and “Would never give that back."
