About

Oluwafemi Olugbade, widely known as Femi Bakes, aka The SoundBaker, is a multimedia storyteller, brand strategist, and creative entrepreneur with an innate ability to bake stories to perfection—using voice, sound, and strategy to create compelling brand narratives that inspire action. With over five years of experience spanning brand communications, storytelling strategy, and audio production, Femi has collaborated with global brands such as Coca-Cola, DSTV, BBC Sounds, the World Bank, Spotify, and GTCO, lending his voice and creative direction to campaigns that have reached millions. His expertise in brand messaging, audience engagement, and sonic branding ensures that brands don’t just speak but truly resonate with their audiences. As the founder of The SoundBaking Company, Femi leads a creative and media agency specializing in strategic brand storytelling, audio branding, and immersive content experiences. The company connects brands with their target audiences through dynamic, multi-sensory storytelling, transforming passive listeners into active brand advocates. Whether it’s a commercial that drives action, a campaign that sparks cultural impact, or an audio drama that shifts perspectives, Femi and his team craft experiences that leave a lasting impression. Femi’s storytelling expertise is deeply rooted in his passion for social change and cultural transformation. In 2020, he launched the "Letters to Boyz" podcast, a bold movement challenging harmful masculinity stereotypes and encouraging men to navigate identity, emotions, and societal expectations with self-awareness. The podcast became the first and only Nigerian podcast accepted into the Google Podcast Creators Program, amplifying its reach to audiences across Europe, North America, and Asia. Beyond his personal projects, Femi is an award-winning voice director and audio producer, mentoring over 300 emerging voice talents and leading high-impact creative projects centered around sustainable development goals (SDGs). He has spearheaded storytelling initiatives on breast cancer awareness, cybercrime, climate change, and mental health, ensuring that African narratives are told authentically and powerfully. His work has earned him multiple recognitions, including the APVA Voiceover Artist of the Year, multiple SOVAS Award nominations, and a win for Outstanding Commercial – Radio or Web (Best African Voiceover) at the 2025 Voice Arts Awards. Femi is not just a voiceover talent—he is a cultural architect, a brand storyteller, and a creative visionary redefining how stories are told and experienced globally. Whether through his voice, ears, or strategy, his mission remains the same: to shape narratives that connect, inspire, and transform audiences across the world.
