From my first part-time job at 15, to calling California home for 11+ years, to now running an independent biz back in my home state of Florida, I have experienced that most creatives find themselves “stuck in the weeds” of their sales/marketing — rather than reveling in it. But, I get it. I too was stuck for many years between these teams. The sandbox was messy. Sales wanted quality leads, while marketing wanted more. I instinctively wore both hats, many times without the title, to see how it could be improved. I was the secret agent on both sides. What did I learn? Sales encompasses more than just the call/close. It’s how you present yourself to the world, conduct on-going outreach, and where I find the magic – yet often forgotten about – persistent yet friendly follow throughs (not “ups”). Marketing is more than just what hits your website, emails, and social posts – it’s the back-of-house brand strategy, tools, and routines that lead to whether it’s a winner, or easily forgotten about. Without a strong foundation, you’re essentially winging it and hoping for virality. #yikes So what was the missing piece? The internal communication loop. I've fine tuned my approach over the years to develop innovative communication strategy, design, and delivery methods to develop awareness, change behavior, and generate sales. I make teams not better, but better together. I turned prior burn out into rapid growth and a healthier mindset for myself and my clients. If that sounds like your speed, let's loop!
