With each episode linking back to a central theme found in popular Cirque du Soleil shows, Cirque du Sound broadens your definition of creativity through a unique 'cirque-oscopic' point of view. Strategy

To bring the Cirque du Sound podcast series to life, we embarked on a comprehensive strategy that aimed to encapsulate the essence of Cirque du Soleil's creativity and innovation while delivering a captivating auditory experience to a new and wider audience while delivering added value to core fans with a different form of entertainment. With a focus on awareness, engagement and new audience acquisition, Cirque du Sound will dominate all Cirque du Soleil owned channels at launch and maintain a sustained voice throughout the 6-month series. 

  

We began by conceptualizing the overarching theme of the podcast series, drawing inspiration from Cirque du Soleil's rich history of pushing boundaries and transcending conventional norms. The concept of exploring creativity from various perspectives, guided by renowned director Michel Laprise, allowed us to craft a narrative that would resonate with both existing Cirque fans and new audiences. 

  

One of the critical elements of the project was identifying and securing interviews with a diverse array of modern visionaries. We meticulously curated guests from the realms of art, science, nature, philosophy, and more, ensuring each episode offered unique insights and perspectives. These interviews were carefully structured to delve deep into the central theme while drawing parallels to Cirque du Soleil's shows, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for listeners. 

  

We placed a strong emphasis on production quality to ensure that Cirque du Sound delivered an unparalleled auditory journey. From sound design to editing, every aspect of production was meticulously crafted to transport listeners. Our team collaborated closely with audio engineers and designers to create a sonic landscape that complemented the rich dialogue and thematic exploration. 

   

Challenges inevitably arose during the execution phase, including logistical hurdles in scheduling interviews with high-profile guests and ensuring a consistent release schedule for episodes. Additionally, maintaining the balance between intellectual depth and accessibility in the conversations proved to be a recurring challenge, requiring careful scripting and editing to strike the right tone. 

  

However, through proactive problem-solving and a relentless commitment to quality, we successfully navigated these challenges and brought Cirque du Sound to fruition. The result is a podcast series that not only celebrates the spirit of Cirque du Soleil but also offers a thought-provoking exploration of creativity and innovation from diverse perspectives. Its unique blend of artistry, intellect, and wonder sets it apart as a standout entry in the podcast landscape, deserving of recognition and acclaim. 

Results

Our team set out with clear objectives for Cirque du Sound, aiming to engage and delight our audience while expanding our reach within the podcasting community. The results we achieved exceeded our expectations and demonstrated the success of our efforts. 

   

Moreover, our all-time download count of 38,381 and unique listener count of 26,052 demonstrate the sustained interest and engagement our podcast has generated over time. With 719 followers on Apple Podcasts and 1,254 followers on Spotify, we have successfully built a loyal and dedicated listener community. 

  

Overall, these results indicate that our efforts have not only met but exceeded our team's objectives and benchmarks. We have created a podcast that resonates with our audience, drives engagement, and expands our reach within the podcasting sphere, making it a true success.
