Lysol's Battling Bac

Objectives

When Lysol wanted to continue its "World's Stinkiest Sock" campaign for 2023, it wanted something dramatic and engaging. They'd be taking this campaign on the road, to baseball tournaments across the United States.

They needed something fast. Something fun! Something that drives home the message of Lysol's battle against stinky bacteria in a new way.

Strategy and Execution

We built an 8-bit arcade game to support Lysol's Battling Bac campaign. We developed a three-level game on Playcanvas, where users play on a mind-bending circular screen, spinning and firing to destroy bacteria with the power of Lysol.

The game was playable on either mobile or arcade cabinets. We built the cabinets custom, in-house, to match the clean Lysol styling while giving the audience a washing-machine feel.

The game and the cabinets bring a robust retro vibe to the campaign, alongside other fun interactive elements like a crane game.

We crafted the registration microsite with Firebase, Flutter, and Mailgun to manage liability and remarketing.

Results

The (at current) over 2,000 Users who've played the game received a $7.00 coupon for Lysol Laundry Sanitizer.
