About Adam Ellis

Illustrator, author, humorist, and guy who is definitely “not.conor.oberst,” Adam Ellis has built a huge following on social media with funny cartoon strips that often appear in BuzzFeed. His followers laugh at the dark but hilarious takes on everyday life evoked through the bulging eyes of characters (including a bearded take on himself). After years of hesitated to post his political cartoons, he unleashed many of them on Instagram at once in June 2017, getting 225K+ likes, especially for the image of Donald Trump as a cat unwilling to listen to its owner. In August, Adam got spooky while documenting the ghost in his apartment over months on Twitter, a story he later collected on Storify, captivating his millions of combined social fans.
