Estelle Maskame is a teenager from Scotland who is most known for writing the Did I Mention I Love You? series. Although young, she has already gathered a large following and has already self-published two of her novels which are on sale. She has had no help with promoting or advertising and has done this all on her own through the use of social media. She is currently working on the third novel in the series, with several others to come. Estelle uses social media - Twitter, in particular - as a platform to promote her work. She used Twitter initially to spread the word about her writing, and without that she feels like no one would probably even know that her novels existed. Twitter allows for her to hear feedback from her readers, gather constructive criticism and advance on it, tweet updates whenever there is something important they should know about such as the release of new chapters, and most importantly, Estelle uses social media to share the love of reading with people from every corner of the globe.
