The biggest misconception I've heard is that Twitter is a waste of time. In my experience it is the best way to talk with people directly.

Its almost second nature now. A better question is how do I decide what NOT to tweet?

I encourage others to go outside and volunteer.
How has social media helped bring your family closer together and #keepgoodgoing?
My family is really close. We Skype, Facebook and email each other all the time. I'm proud of my parents for keeping up.

Originally I started tweeting to connect more with friends online. Now I am tweeting errybody!

I am now really good at writing 140 word essays (^_^)
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
I wish people would upload more cat photos. There are never enough cat photos (=^.^=)

Tweeting at funerals might not be a good idea.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
I think the world will be much more connected through the internet as people with similar interests can communicate much more easily.
