3 years ago I was a working as an underpaid, unappreciated inner-city school teacher. Struggling to make ends meet, I barely got by. In 2010 I, along with much of the staff was let go as a budget cutting measure and that summer, found myself without many job prospects and without much hope. In depression and boredom I turned to the internet, video games, and youtube as an outlet. I now find myself hosting 3 major podcasts, and running a 400,000 subscriber strong youtube channel. I'm awestruck.
Interview with Jesse
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
I follow pretty much anyone I owe money to. That way I know where they are in relation to me at all times. Oh, and @ReelBigFish
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
I have! I'll admit it. It was a woman I used to work with. She was the queen of wall spam. Ironically I'm just as bad now.
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
By constantly keeping people updated on more than my lunch preferences. Video releases, podcast releases, fan interaction...etc...
How do you make your tweets unique?
They're unique because, like myself, I don't pretend to be anything other than what I am. A goofy, fun, nice guy. We're all unique. Be you.
